“hi my name is jeannie park and i'm the owner of tree swing video welcome to the video marketing minute i wanted to share some information about making videos not only at the professional level which is what we do as a videography agency but also speaking to people who are needing to make diy or do-it-yourself videos for their business in fact i've created a course called get over yourself and start making videos that really was in response to so many businesses that i saw last year in 2020 who needed to pivot and figure out a way to you know make their businesses online so they could reach their customers and clients and not have to shut their doors so do let me know if you're interested in that information but something that i wanted to share with you that i include in the course is that if you're going to be doing that it really helps to figure out not only the kinds of videos that you want to make but also where are you going to be shooting them so i found that this is something that holds people back a lot and it doesn't really have to be that hard you can if you're working from home as a lot of us still are you can make videos in your office if you are lucky and you have a home office especially if they have doors that close natural light is great so if you have a room with a window but it doesn't have to be relegated to that i mean you can shoot videos in your living room or family room if you can get your housemate or your family to you know give you a little bit of quiet time so you can make those videos that's helpful but certainly living room or family works um if you have a den or you can even shoot in the dining room so you can get really creative when the weather's nice shooting outside is an option there are some technical things to keep in mind such as you know overhead sunshine can be a little tricky and also external noise so you know we give equipment recommendations to help you make those videos that are shot outside look and sound as as good as they can but there you have it just some some quick tips about where you can start shooting your videos so that you can start wrapping your mind around it and envisioning how and where you can do this so stay tuned so that you can hear more diy and professional tips all about videos so that you can start making videos for your business”
