if i were to ask you off the top of your head what is the number one kind of video that you need to be making in your business right now what would be your answer you may or may not be right depending on what your actual business objective is my name is jeannie park and i'm the owner of tree swing video and this is a video marketing minute and i just want to share with you some some information about this because a lot of companies will watch a video maybe it's on their competitors website or they come across it in their linkedin or facebook feed and they think oh we need to be making a video like that however it really does help to kind of think through what your top business challenge is or problem that you're trying to solve and find the video that's best going to help you to solve those problems and it may or may not be that video that you had in mind so i'm going to run through the top six kinds of videos in business i think it's really important to have that information so that you kind of know what is the menu of options to choose from so the number one kind of video is a brand video this is the number one reason why companies will pick up the phone and call us is to make a video for the website a video that's an introduction you get to know their company maybe you hear from the founder get to know the culture you see the top service or product that they're offering i think home means different things for different people for me it's a place of peace it's a respite at the end of the day it's just nice to walk in and have a house that feels put together when i come home this this is peace this is it's comfort it's a chance to kind of clear your head so the brand video if you don't have one of these that is a great place to start another kind of video that we see often in it's just a powerhouse is the case study or testimonial video now this is the video that offers social proof which is so important today because there's just so many choices out there and so much information so having a recommendation by a happy customer or client with a specific story about why they loved working with that brand this is a highly converting piece of marketing collateral and it's just as effective according to research as a personal recommendation from somebody that you know it's a good company they're they're easy to work with scheduling is is usually right on the money the job sites are kept looking good like we like to have for our customers follow-up if needed when needed is taken care of it's just a seamless relationship when i need something i can rely on those guys getting it done social media videos so this kind of video it's content it's it's videos that you're just pushing out on a regular basis across your social media channels and it could be relevant news it could be a new product or service it could be an introduction to somebody on your team it could be behind the scenes phobia is the fear of public speaking and i had it and i had a big time and it's something that we really don't talk about in america but 75 to 90 percent of the american people have the fear of public speaking glossophobia another kind of video that can be very helpful if you have products that you're trying to maybe sell on your ecommerce site is demos so any kind of demonstration or you're just showing the product through a video instead of just a static photo converts a lot better and you will see an increase in sales
